The APT-2400F is a single-sided, high-performance test system with 4 axes and 6 flying probes. It precisely contacts extremely small pads of up to 50µm on the smallest circuit boards and performs tests at breathtaking speed. With a newly developed measuring system and a wide range of test functions, test coverage is significantly increased. The APT-2400F series offers various model types that all have one thing in common: they reduce test costs from prototyping to series production while improving product quality. The system is available as a standalone and in-line system.
The APT-2400 systems feature a new optical system with a CMOS camera and a liquid lens that supports autofocus, 3D Real Map, and OCR. A separate remote camera also enables you to monitor the testing processes in production and supports remote debugging without being on-site. Thanks to the new servo control system, the new systems offer the “zero impact” option. The new control system reduces the speed of the flying probes to zero shortly before contact and uses only the spring pressure of the probes for contacting. This enables gentle contacting and significantly reduces the contact pressure on the contact point. This ensures soft contacting even with sensitive printed circuit boards. A new type of cleaning system for the flying probes ensures that they are free of flux and contamination, thus guaranteeing optimal measurement results. Another new feature is the temperature sensor, making it possible to include the temperature of semiconductors and temperature-dependent components in the measurement and to determine the characteristic curve based on the temperature coefficient.
